Rosie – Billy Bob’s True Love

Perhaps the one true love of Billy Bob – his life partner, Rosie de la Roach– knows him best and shares her thoughts in her own words.

“Well, with the release of BILLY BOB EATS TEXAS, everyone will now know that Billy Bob has a healthy appetite for greasy and cheesy foods” says Rosie, proudly. “He is always in our kitchen, cooking up something or other …and does make really big messes, and as a female, I really have to watch my figure, but I just couldn’t resist indulging in dining on Billy Bob’s foods. Purely delicious! I believe that recipe collectors everywhere will love Billy Bob’s cookbook as much as I do.”

However, there is so much more to Billy Bob, other than his possibly being the most enthusiastic Texas food connoisseur on the planet.

After pausing for a moment, Rosie lowers her eyelids and sweetly declares…“Billy Bob is a romantic. I know that he passionately loves me. He does have a rather obsessive attraction to Dolly Parton, and frankly, I used to be a bit jealous, but I worked through it, and know that he’s all mine and always comes home to me. He is also a super good daddy to our offspring.”

On a lighter note, Rosie goes on to say…”Billy Bob is an accomplished guitar player, but seriously needs some vocal training to improve his singing. However, I do love it when he sings the Yellow Rose of Texas to me. My little heart just flutters. He’s undeniably got the showmanship thing down well.”

And, in a moment of honesty, Rosie shares a bit of a concern. “But you know… when Billy Bob looks into a mirror at his handsome self,” Rosie says in a whispery voice, “I just can’t help but think he might be a tad narcissistic as I believe that he spends just a minute too long admiring his gorgeous image. But then again, if one is born with such exceptional good looks, as was Billy Bob, then I guess it is ok to be proud of such a thing.”

“Besides”, Rosie says, “I know his heart and he is a good roach. He is kind, polite, unselfish and happy to be alive. He has to be the most optimistic roach I’ve ever known, and I constantly tease him about wearing rose colored glasses.”

“But”, Rosie goes on to say…” this is exactly the trait that has drawn thousands of other roaches to him. They see that Billy Bob is a BIG dreamer who never gave up on his dreams…and they feel that his self-confidence can rub off on them, and inspire them to make something of their lives, too, and do great and honorable things. So somewhere along his life path, Billy Bob began fully living out his destiny, when he naturally embraced becoming a motivational speaker/ life coach. Nowadays, he enthusiastically teaches other roaches how to be a success in life, just like himself. And that is a good thing. It makes me very proud to see all the roach lives he has helped to change from average to extraordinary.”

“Billy Bob always says that we only get one turn on Life’s merry-go-round, so we should enjoy the ride and live it with as much gusto as possible…because life is much too short. Part of his personal philosophy is to speak a kind word to all who cross his path, and to find something to celebrate in each day. I would add, also, in order to live a happy life, one should never go too long without eating a big hunk of chocolate”, Rosie giggles.

As the time for Rosie to share her thoughts comes to a close, Rosie wipes away a sentimental tear as she finishes by sharing her heartfelt feelings about her beloved Billy Bob and softly says…”Of course I love him like crazy. He’s my Romeo. He’s mushy, sensitive, thoughtful, oozing with sweet nuthins’, doesn’t have a bad odor, and smothers me with trinkets and gifts. Best of all, he is over-the-top affectionate, and generous with his hugs and kisses. How did I ever get so lucky?”
